Product Update | July & August 2025

Improvements

  • Improved mobile experience for the V2 default template
We’ve updated the mobile layout to make it easier to use. Buttons are better aligned, prices are more clearly visible, and the “More information” button now fits properly within tiles.

We also improved overlays and added extra spacing, making content easier to read on both mobile and desktop.

  • More reliable performance emails
We’ve improved how performance emails are processed. Each email is now handled individually, making delivery more reliable and ensuring data is more accurate.
  • Improved accessibility and usability in search results
We’ve updated the default search template to make it easier to use. This includes improvements to the menu, sorting options, buttons, and price filter.

We also made visual updates to fonts and colors, based on accessibility audits, to create a better overall experience for all users.

  • Updated plans and billing pages
We’ve removed all references to Chargify to simplify the experience and keep things up to date. We also added a direct link to the helpdesk, so you can quickly get support when needed.
  • More reliable filter management
We’ve rebuilt the filter management pages with a modern drag-and-drop system. This makes managing filters more reliable and easier to use.
  • Improved search field settings
The search fields page has been rebuilt to fix earlier issues and provide a more stable and reliable configuration experience.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the font in the product widget was not displaying correctly, improving the overall look and feel of the widget.
  • We resolved an issue where the data analysis page was not accessible due to a new authentication method. The page now loads correctly, so you can access it without errors.
  • Resolved an issue where the .modal class caused styling conflicts on many sites by renaming it to .sqr-modal, reducing the likelihood of conflicts.
  • Fixed layout issues in the list and detail views on mobile devices, ensuring elements display correctly and consistently.
  • Removed legacy Chargify integration and updated plans and billing pages to link to the helpdesk, streamlining the billing experience and reducing confusion for users.
  • We fixed issues that could cause errors during code merges, making updates more stable and reliable.
  • Resolved a bug where adding input selectors with quotes (e.g., input[type="search"]) would break search fields in Laravel V2, restoring expected selector functionality.
  • New indexes now use a proper default font family instead of an incorrect value. This ensures consistent and correct styling across the platform.
  • Unused global filters functionality was removed from the MySpotler Search API, streamlining the API and reducing unnecessary complexity.
  • We fixed an accessibility issue caused by the new login system. The data analysis page is now fully accessible again, so you can view your analytics without interruptions.
  • The data analysis page now includes extra insights, such as an overview of search queries and queries without results, giving you a more complete picture of your data.
  • Fixed issues caused by the recent switch to a single input component per type, including problems with certain toggle switches not working correctly and some labels no longer being visible.
  • Removed unused “global filters” functionality from the MySpotler search API, reducing complexity and preventing potential issues from unused code paths.
  • Fixed an issue where searching with the 😡 emoji in the V2 Search API resulted in a 500 error. Now, emoji searches are handled gracefully without causing server errors.
