Integration: Prestashop

This guide will walk you through the integration process between Prestashop and Spotler Activate Search (formerly Sooqr). It covers the installation, configuration, and CRON setup for the XML Feeds Pro plugin, as well as common issues and troubleshooting steps.

This step-by-step plan contains the following steps:

Step 1 – Installing the XML Feeds Pro Plugin

To integrate Spotler Activate Search with Prestashop, you need to install the XML Feeds Pro plugin. This plugin allows you to generate a complete data feed for Spotler Activate Search based on your settings and filters.

Step 2 – Configuring the XML Feeds Pro Plugin

Once the plugin is installed, you can configure it to generate the data feed for Spotler Activate Search. The configuration allows you to set filters and other options to determine which data will be included in the feed. The URL for the generated data feed will be displayed at the top of the page once configured.

Step 3 – Setting up CRON

For smaller data feeds, you can generate the feed on the fly without needing to set up a CRON job. However, for larger feeds, it is recommended to set up CRON to automate the process.

Important Security Reminder

Please make sure to remove the order feed (installed by default) and protect the feed by only allowing Spotler Activate Search addresses or by adding a username and password to the feeds. Otherwise, personal data may be accessible. You can contact Spotler Activate Search Support for assistance with this.
